We're growing, and this is an exciting one.
The West Buncombe Fire Department is officially accepting applications for three newly created Battalion Chief positions!
Adding Battalion Chiefs marks an important milestone for our department and the next step in strengthening our leadership structure. Each Battalion Chief will provide dedicated shift-level leadership, supporting our personnel while providing operational oversight, incident command, training, personnel management, and administrative leadership.

    We are looking for experienced fire service leaders who model professionalism, communicate clearly, take responsibility for their actions, stay calm and decisive in critical situations, and want to contribute to the West Buncombe Fire Department's continued growth.
  

    Three Positions Available
  

    Starting Salary: $94,380
