Fire District #13, Inc. is now accepting applications for the position of:

Entry Level Full Time Firefighter/Driver

Applications may be obtained from the department website at http://firedistrict13.com/recruitment/ or picked up at Station #13, 55, or 58 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm.

Completed applications must be returned to Station #13 located at 2505 Lee’s Chapel Rd., Greensboro, NC by 5pm February 20, 2017 to be considered in this process.

Incomplete applications will be discarded.

Minimum qualifications for the position of Entry Level Full Time Firefighter are:

• NC Firefighter Level I & II certification
• NC Hazardous Materials Level I certification
• NC EMT Basic certification
• NIMS 700, 100 & 200 course completion
• NC Emergency Vehicle Driver certification (within 90 days of employment)
• NC Class B Driver’s License (within 90 days of employment)

Starting salary for the position of Entry Level Full Time Firefighter DOQ is $31,714.00 to $44,811.00 annually.
