The Rutherfordton Fire & Rescue Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time FIREFIGHTER. Applicants must possess NC Firefighter Certification and NC EMT-B Certification. A NC Class B driver's license is required within 6 months of employment. A physical agility assessment, written exam, and panel interview will be part of the hiring process. Criminal background and driving history must accompany application. Starting salary range $28500- $30,000 DOQ. Position open until filled. Review of first round applications will occur 4/21/2017.
