1. Submit application. Applications can be downloaded at www.sunsetbeachnc.govby looking in the “Public Bulletin Board” tab and then “Employment and Volunteer Position Advertisements”.
2. Submit a resume, cover letter, and a copy of unofficial college transcript(s).
3. Submit firefighter/EMT certifications.
4. Submit drivers license.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be scheduled for a face-to-face interview via Skype or FaceTime with representatives from the Sunset Beach Fire Department. Selection for entrance into the apprentice program will be based on the applicant’s qualifications and the interview process.
