Definitely, the yahoo email group help me out on many occasions in the past, and we had a quicker response to many of the post, like Tommy said must have rules on "Reply All".

I would say yes ... we would just need to set rules on "reply all" and content. That is what kills an email group.

Absolutely! There have been a few times that I have submitted a question in the talk group and there are never any responses, so hopefully this would help.

I am looking at starting back up a email group like what we once had when we had ncfirechiefs yahoo group, we had great communications then across the state. So if I start a google group would you or officers of your FD be interested in joining it
