LP-Gas Code Training

This training is a one-day class on the LP-Gas Code, NFPA 58. It will be taught by NFPA staff. There is no cost for state, county, or city employees who are fire marshals, fire chiefs, or fire inspectors. We hope to get several of these fire service people because, as I have explained at the NC Fire Prevention School, there are a lot more fire service people than there are LP-Gas Inspectors. We welcome having these extra eyes to help identify problems.

The training will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the Martin Building on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Pre-registration is required. There is a limit of about 40 people and we must know how many will be attending in order to have the proper amount of training material and to keep the class size manageable for quality training. There is no way to fully train on the LP-Gas Code in one day. We will point out many details and help you understand where to find requirements in the code. We hope to be able to provide a free copy of the LP-Gas Code to each attendee.

Include the name of each person being registered, their title, their organization, and their email address. People will be registered in the order the information listed is received. I will respond to each person, preferably by email, that they have either been accepted into the class or that they are on the waiting list. Details about the location will be provided to those who are accepted into the class. If you don’t get an email reply within three days or a letter within about a week, please call 919-707-3231 to check on your registration. Please, no attempts to register by phone.
