Firefighter/EMT

The Town of Rutherfordton is seeking a qualified individual for the position of firefighter. The successful candidate must possess a valid NC driver’s license, NC Firefighter II certification, and NC EMT Basic certification. A Class B driver’s license is required within six months of employment. Terms of employment will include the successful candidate completing physical agility and written skills assessments. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ethical, team-oriented, and passionate about public service. Starting salary is based on experience and qualifications with completive pay starting at $35,609.
