Full-time firefighter / EMT-B is open to anyone who is certified or can obtain reciprocity in North Carolina as a firefighter 2 / EMT-B.

Firefighter/EMTs work a shift of 24 hours on, 48 hours off, can be detailed to other schedules, and can be on emergency call. Starting annual pay: $42,372.00.

Submit Town application, cover letter, and resume to Chief Childres. rchildres@sunsetbeachnc.gov. Hiring as needed to fill position. Applications can be downloaded at www.sunsetbeachnc.gov by looking in the “Public Bulletin Board” tab and then “Employment and Volunteer Position Advertisements”.
