Colfax Fire Department is currently accepting applications for a 
Firefighter / Driver position.

Colfax Fire District, is on the western edge of Guilford County and provides fire, medical, hazardous materials operational level response.

Desired minimum qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
NC State certified Firefighter 2
NC State Certified EMT
Hazardous Materials Operations
North Carolina Class B Driver’s License
Eighteen years of age prior to hire date
Above qualifications must be obtained within a period 
of time to be determined by the Fire Chief

Shift schedule
Modified 24/48 which gives four day off every third weekend.
Shift work subject to change due to department needs.

Salary
Minimum entry level is 30,000 annually.
Consideration may be given to salary, dependent upon
certifications and experience.
