Town of Rutherfordton

The Town of Rutherfordton is seeking a qualified individual for the position of firefighter. The successful candidate must possess a valid NC driver’s license, NC Firefighter II certification, and NC EMT Basic certification. A Class B driver’s license is required within six months of employment. Terms of employment will include the successful candidate completing a physical agility and written skills assessment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ethical, team oriented and passionate about public service. Starting salary range $28,500- $30,000. Deadline for applications is Friday October, 21.
