JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

The Barnardsville Fire Department is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a full time Firefighter/Paramedic position 

The candidate will perform varied tasks, vital to fire suppression and emergency services, to the citizens of the Barnardsville Fire District and where called upon to respond. candidate will perform various station duties, equipment maintenance, basic vehicle maintenance and any other tasks set before you. the candidate should abide by the policies, guidelines, Mission and Vision Statements of the Barnardsville Fire Department. the candidate will contribute to the overall emergency response readiness of the Barnardsville Fire Department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must hold a current NC EMT-Paramedic Certification
• Must hold a current NC FF II Certification
• Must hold a NC EVD
• Must hold a NC Hazardous Materials Operations Level Responder Certification
• Must have FEMA certifications in NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED from approved agency
• Must hold a valid North Carolina Driver's License
