Participating departments in the
Carolina Fire Recruitment Alliance
are currently accepting applications for
Entry Level Firefighter positions.
Overview:
The City of Albemarle, City of Concord, Town of Harrisburg, and City of Salisbury have developed a joint firefighter recruitment process. This process saves these cities the cost of doing independent recruitment efforts and is more efficient for candidates because they can apply with more than one city using the same testing process.
This is an opportunity for YOU to apply for multiple departments and only participate in one CPAT and written exam. Minorities and Women are encouraged to apply. No previous experience is required
Not all departments currently have firefighter vacancies, but this testing will be used to establish an eligibility list which will be used to fill future vacancies as they occur. When the testing process is complete, the eligibility list will be made available to the listed departments.
Testing Dates:
· CPAT Orientation Sessions (January 26th & January 27th)
· CPAT Practice Sessions and Final Test (February 22nd, February 23rd, March 8th, March 9th, March 22nd and March 23rd)
· Candidates who successfully complete the CPAT will move on to the written exam (exam date is April 17th at 6:00 PM at the Embassy Suites, 5400 John Q Hammonds Dr. NW, Concord, NC 28027)
