We have one here in McDowell County. The Fire and Rescue Association owns it and it is available for use by all departments. I will look to see if we have a written SOP for the trailer. We do however have each department go through training on the Safety House before they can use it. We try to hold a training once a year at one of our Association meetings so that it will give departments a chance to send new people to get training on it. As the President of the Association I keep up with who gets it and uses it. It is a first come first serve deal. We know that October is a busy month and we have departments that use it all year. Just curious as to what departments may have a Mobile Concepts Fire Safety House and do you have a "policy and procedures" SOG for the operation of the safety house? We have 22 departments that have the option of using it and we need some guidelines.
