The Laurinburg City Council and Laurinburg Fire Department invite the community to join them at the grand opening of Fire Station 1 on Wednesday, October 30th 2024! The opening ceremony will take place at the newly constructed fire station at 17501 Aberdeen Road at 4pm. A celebration and opportunity to tour the fire station will continue until 6:00 PM. As part of the event, a fire hose uncoupling will occur in the bays. Light refreshments will be provided. The entire community is invited to attend and celebrate. Parking for the ceremony is available in the side parking and at the rear of the station in the rock parking area. Overflow parking will be in front of the back bay doors utilizing the apron area at the rear.
