County Capital Fund

    Check with Iredell. If you look at their budget, you can see it in the fire tax district portion that starts on page 220 but the capital starts on 223-225.

    Does anyone know of a county other than Wake, that the county has a capital fund set aside separate from the non-profits operating budget. The county funds the Capital fund, and the non-profits buy all capital out of this fund, In Turn the county retains ownership of the capital equipment and fire stations that are funded from this fund. Please email me if you have information on a funding model like this.
