Please join me in congratulating Deputy Chief Matt Lawrence with Chapel Hill Fire.  He has been selected through a competitive process to join the prestigious FSEDI group of fire service professionals - Fire Service Executive Development Institute through the IAFC.  He will join myself, Joy Ponder with Asheville Fire, and Paula McDaniel with Charlotte Fire as NC Fire Service personnel who are graduates of the program.
