Our town manager has recently expressed reservations about our fire department's maintenance of a confidential health database for our firefighters (as per NFPA 1500).  Specifically, he is concerned that by keeping data such as the results of initial physical exams we may be violating patient privacy and confidentiality requirements such as those imposed by HIPAA.
