    As a 501c3 department, we actually pay them a high rate per hour that we do our full-time staff.  Benefits, scheduled overtime, retirement % are not a factor regarding the part-time staff for us and how we operate.

    We pay them more because they are not eligible for benefits.

    Do you pay your PRN's the same hourly rate as your career staff or a different rate ?
