Corrective Lenses for SCBA Masks

    Fayetteville issues the frame kits and its up to the employee to get the lenses made and installed.  They can use their medical benefits if they choose.

    The fire department purchases the frame kit for the mask and then our safety department which is under human resources purchases the lens for the employee.

    We  purchased the frames necessary to go in the mask and our local eye center donated the three sets of lens necessary.

    Does anyone's department pay for someone's corrective lenses that go inside their SCBA's face pieces?  Anyone have any guidance on where to possibly research obligations for this?
