    Chief Perry, Fire Station No. 9 is the first that Cary Fire Department has built in an older, established neighborhood.  Thus far, it has gone well, feel free to give me a call to discuss strategies that have worked for us. 919-427-3919. DR

    Can anyone provide strategies to improve the likelihood of a successful integration of a new fire station within a residential area?  We've heard early community input as a key factor, but would love to hear more about successful strategies and/or lessons learned.
