We still use them as back up radios now that we have gone to the 6000 and for some of our non responding department members. We have multiple issues now that they are past the shelf life. The biggest one being the batteries not holding a charge very long but also some issues transmitting and receiving.

We have several in use but no real issues. You are not able to put them on the Viper system no longed.

Is anyone still using the XTS 2500? If so have you had any issues past the shelf life? Looking for facts and figures on replacing them with the APX 6000 XE. Just looking for issues that have occurred wit the XTS2500
